Mission
This website provides information related to Scotland National Football teams. Primarily but not exclusively, we focus on eligible footballers. Those eligible footballers can be past, present or future.
We will potentially publish other content as we feel appropriate. That could be information on e.g., managers/coaches, opponents or anything else that takes our mood. All content though will ultimately be looked at through relevance to Scotland national football teams. E.g., individual player performances, form, transfers and/or injuries. Content can be analysis, opinion, ideas (sometimes realistic, sometimes less so), and anything else takes our fancy.
Scope
We take no position in debates regarding the criteria for international footballer eligibility. This website instead focuses on eligible footballers, based on the FIFA defined criteria that is in place at the time an article is published. As long as a player is eligible for Scotland, they are in-scope for consideration on this website.

fitba.scot is independently founded and owned and is not part of a media group. This website is self-funded and not backed by outside investors.
